Station Square's 6th Annual SAMPLE OF STATION SQUARE will take place this year on Wednesday August 5th, 2009. The event is a tasty evening of menu sampling of participating restaurants and other entertainment in order to raise funds for the Western Pennsylvania Humane Society.

The Western Pennsylvania Humane Society's Sample of Station Square will be held from 6pm to 8:30pm inside participating restaurants, Freight House shops, and on a one-block section of Station Square Drive between the Sheraton Hotel and the Landmarks Building. Participants will receive a passport that will allow them access to special sampling stations set-up in each participating restaurant.

A tasty treat is in store for event attendees from participating restaurants. Restaurants will be serving samples of some of their finest cuisines during the evening event.

Dessert After Party on the Gateway Clipper's Party Liner
The fun doesn't stop when the restaurant menu sampling ends. To satisfy your sweet tooth, travel on down to the Gateway Clipper's Party Liner. Each registered guest can enjoy a complimentary dessert and coffee bar from 8:30pm to 10pm. Winners for the prizes from the raffle and silent auction will be announced on board the boat starting right at 8:30pm. The rest of the hour will give guests the opportunity to sample the desserts and purchase a cocktail from the cash bar.

The Party Liner will remain docked.

Special Entertainment on the Street
A one block section of Station Square Drive will be closed to host the event and special live entertainment. What would a Humane Society Event be without some special four legged furry guests? Adorable animals from the Western Pennsylvania Humane Society will be in attendance looking for loving homes.

Ticket Information
Tickets for the Western Pennsylvania's Humane Society?s Sample of Station Square are $30 in advance and $35 the day of the event. Ticket prices include parking for the event and one complimentary raffle ticket and access to all of the participating restaurants.
